Spring Event – Going well. Still need a few volunteers for library. Interview on KDUR
April 13 (Maureen & Jeff) will air April 14. Lynn working on PowerPoint for program at
library. Steve K and Susana are posting posters.
Employer Recognition Program – Mia is leaving, new coordinator being hired for 10
hours per week. Mia will orient new coordinator and continue to work with Thrive! on a
volunteer basis. There are a few new applications which will be reviewed in April. Mia
working on Policies & Procedures re TERP.
Policy – Maureen has mtg with Rep. Moreno Thur, March 19 @ 12:30 to find out what
is happening at the State level re minimum wage
Interfaith Worker Justice in Chicago – Mo meeting with Community Organizer there
May 26. They have invited Thrive! to be a member of IWJ which would offer us support.
Bayfield Chamber of Commerce meeting 5:30 p.m Thursday, March 12 at the Pine River
Community Learning Center at 54 E. Mill St. April meeting noon Thursday, April 16, at
Bayfield High School, with a wonderful luncheon catered by BHS students. Cost will be
approximately $10 per person, and we'll need RSVPs in early April.
Diversity Dialogue Saturday March 14 8:45 – noon.
Steve talked to local business person – Steve will give Maureen his contact info.
6:00 Potluck Dinner
6:30 Discussion & workgroup
Acknowledgement card envelopes. Suggestion that we include a seed packet. Suggestion
that we make available on our website. Suggestion we have ecards. We assembled packets.

application. Be recipient of other agency’s fundraiser. United Way. Cultivate donors.
Region 9. Annual donation from faith-based orgs. Collaborate with Animas High or
Mountain Middle School.
Review/edit brochure before reprint. Several suggestions re font, logo, add
graphics. Have graphic arts students at FLC design logo.
